JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Assembling orders
- Moving through the warehouse, "building" orders and having them ready for pick-up.
- Weighing and preparing bulk item orders.
Stocking
- Unloading delivery trucks and then stocking warehouse shelves.
- Confirming order against delivered goods.
Member services
- Checking-in shift workers
- Giving tours of the facility to new and prospective members
- Answering the phone
- Processing memberships
Childcare*
- Providing care of members' children during their shift.
- We will have a safe, enclosed facility for childcare.
Cleaning/maintenance
- General cleaning and light maintenance, like changing lightbulbs.
Team leader*
Team Leaders are people who want to get a little more involved with the CoG on a mangerial level. They run the teams that operate in the various shifts. Generally, they are assumed to either have more training, or more experience, with the CoG, and thus are good go-to people for random standard questions (e.g., how do I fill an order, etc.)
- Responsible for the efficiency of shift work.
- Make real-time decisions about job assignments, ensuring every member has something to do.
- Hold wrap-up meetings in the last 15 minutes of their shift.
